I have been wrestling for a while with my bookkeeping and I wanted to share with you a shortcut that I found after a lot of trial and error. People in small businesses tend to prefer doing more significant activities such as finding, understanding and keeping customers as opposed to doing their bookkeeping. Accounting is one of those arduous tasks that very few people relish doing but has to be performed on a regular basis to avoid problems.

I just went out and bought the application without even considering if it would suit my needs. OK my first piece of wisdom is that whenever you see the words accounting software go carefully as it probably means the designer is making the assumption you understand a great deal about accounting.
