Is MLM Recruiting Difficult?
By<p>”Am I required to know and sponsor a lot of people in an MLM program to be successful?” is a commonly asked question.
A reply from many upline sponsors commonly is something similar to the following…
“No, if you sponsor just one person every month or two, you can become quite successful in Multi Level Marketing, and build up a great residual income.
They will go on to tell you that the people you sponsor do not have to come from your “warm market,” (that is, your friends, relatives, amoxil and people you already know). They say, just think of all the people you run into every day in your normal activities!
They instruct you to sit down with pen and paper and make a list of everyone you know, have known, attended school with, done business with, worked with, go to church with, etc. and they explain that you will be amazed by how many people you come up with.
But the question is, will all these people really join your Multi Level Marketing business if you ask them to? Most probably not. However, statistics show that if only one out of every one hundred contacts you make joins your program under you, it will be enough to make your car payment, another one will make your house payment, and one more will retire you!
So, three out of every one hundred isn’t all that bad! Also, keep in mind that the people on your list also know other people, and will quite often refer you to others that might be interested in joining your program!”
Have you ever been turned down 97 times? That is a lot of rejection. And initially these rejections come from people you know, so the rejection is even harder. Most people will not last that long.
How many masochist do you know who are willing to knowingly go out and face one hundred people and get rejected by ninety seven of them and just keep on going trying to sell or recruit to an unwilling market?
If you are lucky enough to recruit an established “heavy hitter” from another MLM company who brings along his existing downline with him, then the above answer might be technically true depending upon your company’s compensation plan.
However, the chances of you finding a “heavy hitter” who goes out and creates a large downline beneith you when you only recruit “one person every month or two,” is extremely unlikely.
So, are there any alternatives if you don’t wish to face massive rejection and the likelihood of your landing a “heavy hitter” early in your Network Marketing career is extremely low?
Instead of chasing after all your friends and family members and quickly becoming a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club, or bugging everyone within 30 feet of you as advocated by some sponsors, you need to narrow down your target market. Everyone is not your target market. Your target market is made up of people who are already wanting to start a home business, to earn extra money on a part-time basis, are looking for a Network Marketing company to join or are already a member of some other MLM business. You can even further narrow down your niche to only the latter group if you desire. Then get them to come to you and get them to join your company by employing a soft sell technique instead of the hard sell methods pushed by many Network Marketing sponsors.
“So, how do I achieve that?”, you ask.
Well first you have to get their attention and interest by offering them something such as a free report or preferably a funded proposal amoxil online that is relevant to your market and getting them on your mailing or contact list. Then, once they are on your list, you develop a relationship with them by providing them frequent free useful information relative to your product, company, the MLM industry, salesmanship, or marketing, etc. In their eyes you will quickly become an authority figure.
If you have targeted the correct market, you will soon have prospects calling you and asking you what you do and how they can join your team.
